Tim Bonner

Tim is a Columbia, South Carolina native and University of South Carolina graduate (Go Gamecocks!). He received a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC. He is married to Bonnie, who is definitely a better cook. Tim and Bonnie love to travel and have a goal of seeing all 50 states together. Tim oversees various FBC ministries: Keenagers (Senior Adults), Missions, Discipleship, English as a Second Language (ESL), Stephen Ministry, and Deacons. Before coming to FBC Tim served several churches in South Carolina and Maryland as Pastor. He is also a retired U.S Army chaplain, proudly wearing the uniform for 30 years in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve. In addition to his role as Associate Pastor, Tim directs the Seminary Extension program for the Montgomery Baptist Association.
