Sachi Kanzaki

Ms. Sachi Kanzaki is the Senior Director of the WEE Center. She was born in Japan and lived in Portland, Oregon for 20 years. She came to know Jesus Christ as her personal savior in 1993. Sachi served as a children’s minister and a Preschool Head Teacher/Director at her former church for 10 years. Sachi earned an AA degree in Early Childhood Education in Japan, earned a Level 6 Credential in Maryland, a BS in Psychology from Oregon State University, and has a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling. She also has a teaching certificate from Kawaii Music School for Beginners. God called Sachi to relocate to the DC area, so she moved from Oregon to Maryland in August 2010, and became a member of The First Baptist Church of Rockville. She is currently pursuing her second master’s degree in counseling and helps with the counseling ministry at FBCR and in our community.
