Keenagers Ministry
About Us
The Keenagers Ministry is dedicated to the seniors (age 55 and older) of our church and the Rockville community. Our purpose is to CULTIVATE a relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, and for seniors to CONNECT with each other. Our ministry includes such activities as monthly luncheons and Bible studies, and occasional field trips.
Join Us
- 2nd Thursday of the month, potluck luncheon from 11:30 – 1:00 pm in room 210/212. It features a devotion from one of our pastors, along with a program which may include a speaker, music, or games.
- 4th Thursday of the month, Bible study from 10:30 – 11:30 am in room 210/212, led by Pastor Tim Bonner.

Keenagers Activities For August and September
*There will be no lunch held in August, however Bible Study will be on August 27.
August 9th: 7:00 pm – Outdoor Big Band/Swing Band Concert in Baker Park in Frederick. Free, bring a lawn chair. Let Tim or Bonnie know ou are coming, and we will look for you to sit together. August 22nd: 11:00 am Kate Pearl Tea Room in Sykesville, MD. We have reservations for 12 people – Tim and Bonnie are going so there are ten spaces left. If more than ten want to come Bonnie will try to add more. Cost is $46.00 which includers tax and tip. You can make your check payable to FBC Rockville and they have to be received no later than August 9th. https://katepearltearoom.com/ car pools may be available.
August 29th: 4:00pm Redland Baptist Church 60th Year Celebration – The Rockville Swing Band.
September 4th: 11:00am Walk/Lunch at the Rio. Meet in front of Uncle Julio’s. After the walk we will return to Uncle Julio’s for lunch.
