About Us
The Prayer Ministry exists to lead the church into effective corporate and personal prayer. We rely on God’s promises, submit to the supremacy of our Lord Jesus Christ and the direction of the Holy Spirit. We persevere in prayer for the needs of our congregation and the accomplishment of its mission in our community. (Eph. 6:18; 1 Tim 2:1-3)
We commit to:
* Pray and promote prayer in every Ministry of the church (Acts 2:42)
* Support the church’s mission and leadership through prayers.(Rom 15:30; Ex 17:12)
* Help church members develop a strong and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer. (Col 4:12; Eph 6:18)

Service Opportunities
Do you have a heart for prayer, and would you like to join the Lord in fulfilling His kingdom agenda in FBCR? Consider joining one of our teams today!
Prayer Central Team. After each Sunday service a team of intercessors are located in Prayer Central to pray with brothers and sisters in need of prayer.
Prayer Partners Team. The Prayer Partners Team prays with the pastor that is scheduled each Sunday, praying that whenever they speak, words may be given to them, so that they will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel and draw people to Christ. The Team also prays for the brothers and sisters who serve during our church services and ask for the Holy Spirit’s anointing and guidance.
Intercessory Team – The Intercessory Team is part of the Prayer Ministry and stands on God’s promises to intercede on behalf of our church and the body of Christ all over the world, for the spiritual and general needs of believers in our church and the body of Christ worldwide, and for humanity according to the will of God. Fasting and prayer are core elements of the intercessory ministry. Team members dedicate themselves to developing their personal intimacy with the Lord and exercising the authority and power coming from the Holy Spirit to call on God’s divine intervention and perfect will.
